Relating to small town life
Some people consider Seguin as a small town right outside of San Antonio. But to me, Seguin is a big city just south of San Marcos. To many students here at TLU consider campus to be a small school. But since I graduated with approximately 100 kids in my senior class, I consider TLU to be a big school. I went to school in George West, TX, which is a town of roughly 2500 people. In school and around town everybody new eachother, some teachers there graduated from there and have lived in George West all there life, 50% of the mexican students are related, as well as 50% of the white students are related. Now at TLU, I still struggle with remembering names, students here are from all over the world, and I doubt 50% of two different races are related. An odd thing about George West and it being a small town, the High School had 5 pairs of twins. The culture wasn't diverse, there was 60% whites, 39% mexican and 1% African American. We had more twins than we had African Americans!
